Customize

(updated 7 March 2001) Try it!

Customize facilitates client customization -- the creation of inidividualized web pages.

Two versions of Customize are available: an SRE-http version, and a "generic" CGI-bin version.

As an SRE-http addon
Two modes of client customization are supported:
  • SIMPLE) Easier to configure, but limited versatility
  • FLEXIBLE) Somewhat harder to configure, but gives you to incorporate client-specific server side includes.
  • As a CGI-bin script
To use the non-SRE-http version of CUSTOMIZE, your web OS/2 server must:
  • understand CGI-BIN
  • understand the #EXEC server side include; that is, be compliant with NCSA-style server side includes
  • The SRE-http version is faster, and has a wider range of options.

Would you like to read the manual for the SRE-http version or the CGI-bin version?

Or, are you ready to download the latest SRE-http version (updated 7 March 2001, size=53K),
or the latest CGI-bin version (updated 26 March 1999, size=28K),
